Terms of Sale

These terms apply to purchases made through legacycardvault.com and in our physical store at 18 W Water St, Chillicothe, OH 45601.

Product availability & pricing

All items are subject to availability. We make every effort to keep prices and stock accurate, but errors can happen — if we discover a pricing or listing error after you order, we'll contact you before completing the sale.

Sales tax

Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on where your order is delivered, in accordance with state law. For purchases made in our shop, and for local pickup, the Ohio sales tax rate is 7.25%.

Payment

Online payments are processed securely by Stripe at checkout. The payment methods you can use, such as major credit and debit cards, are shown on the payment page. We never see or store your full card number.

In our shop you can pay with cash, or by card (chip, tap, or swipe) on our card reader, which is also processed by Stripe. For a card payment you can have your receipt emailed to you or printed.

Shipping

Orders are shipped from our Chillicothe, OH location, typically within 1–2 business days of purchase. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. We currently ship only to addresses within the United States.

Every order ships with tracking, and we email you the tracking number once your order ships.

Lost or damaged in transit. If your package arrives damaged, or is lost in transit, email store@legacycardvault.com with your order number within 7 days of the delivery date (or, for a package that never arrives, within 7 days after its estimated delivery date). For damage, please keep the packaging and send photos. We will review it, file a claim with the carrier where needed, and replace the item or refund your order.

High-value orders. At our discretion, higher-value orders may be shipped with insurance and signature confirmation; if a signature is required, the carrier will ask for it at delivery. We may also contact you to confirm an order before shipping it.

Address accuracy. Please check your shipping address before you pay. If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, we will contact you, and re-shipping may require paying shipping again.

Comic pull list

Joining our comic pull list is free. We set aside copies of brand new issues of the series you ask for, as they are released, and let you know when they come in. The pull list is for new releases only, not back issues; for those, use our want list. You pay when you pick them up, at the price shown when you collect them, plus sales tax. We hold your books for 14 days after we let you know they are in. After that we may release them back to the shelf, so please pick them up in that time or contact us if you need longer. If you decide you don't want a book that is being held for you, tell us and we will release it.

Order acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline (for example, in cases of suspected fraud or a pricing error). We'll notify you if we're unable to fulfill your order.

Condition & grading

We describe card and collectible condition to the best of our ability. Grading is inherently subjective outside of third-party graded (slabbed) items; we are not responsible for differences of opinion on ungraded card condition, only for accurately describing visible flaws we're aware of at the time of listing.

Returns

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or give refunds or exchanges, except for items that arrive damaged, are lost in transit, or are not the item you ordered. See our Returns & Refunds policy for how to report a problem.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legacy Card Vault is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or purchase of our products.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
